Californ-i-a

Here are some highlights from our 4th of July festivities and vacation in California with Jeff's family! What a great week and a half, although still pretty dang hot up there in Northern CAL. We had a wonderful 4th of July in Lake of the Pines for their annual carnival, followed by awesome fireworks on the Dydiw's deck (what an amazing view they have). Then a really fun Lake of the Pines Ward BBQ at the Bearry's. Elle squealed with joy watching the fireworks, she was so excited!

We had awesome cousin time with water balloon fights, butt wars and crack the egg on the tramp, dance parties and sleep overs. Meeting a new and precious baby girl Ashley Thomas-the newest addition to our family! The list could go on and on!

We were also able to meet up with some of our very best friends (the Miller's) for a little lake action! We miss them and their cute boys terribly! So glad the are moving to Auburn, that way we know we will always be able to see them and keep in touch!

So overall we had a great and much needed little break before Jeff headed right in to start his third year of dental school. Now back to real life! We love and miss out California family and friends. See most of you at Christmas! xoxoxo
